The Master's thesis should be submitted in 8 printed copies. The PhD thesis should be submitted in 11 printed copies. Both have to be submitted also in digital version, 2 copies, in PDF format. A delivery receipt will be handed to the candidate.
Furthermore, the student should submit 01 printed copy and 01 digital copy in physical media, with a copy of the delivery receipt and a letter signed by both the supervisor and the coordinator of the Program. This letter should mention that the thesis is ready for defense and that it has been submitted to indexed journals.
For the Master's thesis, the article shall be submitted to a journal indexed at ISI (International Scientific Indexing) with IF ≥ 0,2. For the PHD's thesis the article shall be submitted to a journal indexed at ISI with IF ≥ 1,2.
Both types of thesis must be written in Portuguese with abstract and title, preferentially, in Portuguese and English.
The CPG has the deadline of 60 days, from the thesis delivery, to assign the evaluating committee.
The deadline for the defense is 90 days from the first approval of the evaluating committee by the CPG.
